STS graduate student Lisa Lehner receives six-month fellowship at the KLI

STS graduate student Lisa Lehner received a six-month fellowship at the Konrad Lorenz Institute for Evolution and Cognition Research (KLI) in Klosterneuburg, Austria. She will be starting her stint as a resident fellow on October 1st, 2020. 

The KLI is an interdisciplinary center for advanced studies in the life and sustainability sciences, and fellowships aim to support excellent doctoral students in the final stages of their PhD. Lisa made it through a multi-stage selection procedure with a chapter proposal from her dissertation that argues for different and more responsible modes of living with the "social fact" of viral infectivity, based on her research on Hepatitis C infections and cures, and the role of welfare state public health in Austria.
